Still have the idea swimming in my head to have a shop devoted to custom clothing for teensy corseted waists…
Idk I just kinda see a lot of women wearing corsets and either they have trouble with pants or even skirts fitting right or they stealth and have to put a belt with their outfit that has to be modified for it to fit. I wanna make skirts with 18” waist bands and dresses with little waist measurements and belts that start at 16”.
I’m dumb whatever.
Yes, please, do this!
I mean, you already have a solid customer base (the tumblr corset community). Better yet, instead of catering only to the teensiest of waists, maybe also offer clothing for large hip-springs, so us bottom-heavy corsetted babes can have clothes that actually fit at the waist. ~Clair
77. My corsetted figure is so ingrained in my self-image that I'm afraid one day I'll stop accepting my natural body.
Sometimes I have the same fear, but then I remind myself that my body is constantly changing — due to body modification, hormonal fluctuations, diet, age, and other lifestyle factors — so there’s really no fixed size or shape that I can call my natural body. My body is always in a state of flux, but corsets allow me to keep certain body measurements approximately stable so that I can always feel comfortable in my skin. I may not always be able to love the squishiness underneath all this coutil and steel, but I am able to control it, and that’s close enough for me. ~Clair
Finally showing off my mystic city cincher. There’s no need to explain why I love it so much, the pictures explain pretty well. The curve is perfect, the detailing is great, and who doesn’t love red leather?
Also, this would be perfect for cosplaying a Mord-Sith from Legend of the Seeker, so please, someone, make it so. ~Clair
Had a family gathering today :) Everybody was pretty shocked with the corset. My cousin even picked it up after I took it off and tried to put it on unsuccessfully. My 18 inch corset is just about closed!
That last photo is priceless.
